Iran and Israel fired missiles at each other on Saturday as the conflict ignited following Israel’s attack on its regional rival’s nuclear programme reached a second day.
Israeli paramedics disclosed that, at least three (3) people had been killed and dozens injured by Iran’s strikes overnight, with missiles slipping through the country’s air defences and destroying structures in Tel Aviv and Rishon LeZion.
As disclosed by Iranian media, unofficial estimates, said that seventy-eight (78) people had been killed and 329 injured in Iran since Israel started its campaign on Friday.
On Saturday, Israeli military chiefs, issued a warning that Tehran would be targeted in follow-up strikes after Israeli fighter jets carried out raids overnight against air defence systems around the Iranian capital.
This most recent fighting in the Middle East, which has forced oil prices to a four-month high, was ingited by Israel’s attack on Tehran’s nuclear programme and military facilities that killed Iran’s top three military commanders as well as leading scientists.
A top adviser to the commander of the Revolutionary Guards said that Iran’s barrages had targeted 150 sites in Israel and were conducted in multiple waves.
Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said attacks would not stop until Israel had wiped out the threat from the nuclear programme of Iran.
Following Israel’s surprise attacks on Iran on Friday, President of the United States (US), Donald Trump, warned Iran to make a deal and save what is left of the Iranian Empire.
The US President further warned, that, Israel has a lot of American “lethal” weapons, and more to be supplied, saying, the Israelis know how to use these weapons.
