Nigerian businesswoman and political activist, Aisha Yesufu, has reacted following the response by the Lagos State Government to the “invasion and demolition” of Peter Obi’s youngest brother’s company property in Ikeja, Lagos.
Yesufu said, she read the former Anambra State Governor’s statement following the property demolition, and that, she couldn’t find where the Lagos State Government or the Lagos State Building Control Agency is mentioned.

This led Yesufu to make her conclusion that, LASG “just showed its hand by the statement it put out.”
Following the demolition of his brother’s company property, Obi said, “any society where lawlessness overrides the rule of law is not destined to be a haven for investors.”
Obi asked, “If this level of lawlessness can happen to someone with a registered company and legitimate means, what hope does the ordinary Nigerian have?”
However, the Lagos State Government, in its response after Obi’s outcry, said, the public should “disregard” Obi’s claims, and added, “we are not involved in the demolition of his brother’s property”.
