Hope Uzodimma, Executive Governor of Imo State, inspected the ongoing construction of the Assumpta Flyover in Owerri, the State’s Capital.
The Governor said, the flyover will be very helpful in “decongesting traffic and enhancing the safety of commuters.”
Uzodimma commended the “pace and quality” of work, as well as, the “seriousness” wth which the project is being handled.
Governor Uzodimma made known via his official X account: “Given the strategic importance of the Control Post in managing traffic flow within the city of Owerri, I am particularly excited about the positive impact the flyover will have in decongesting traffic and enhancing the safety of commuters.

“As I inspected the ongoing construction of the Assumpta Flyover, I reaffirmed our commitment to ensuring that all projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality and within the stipulated contractual timeframe.
“I am pleased with the level of progress achieved so far on the flyover. The pace and quality of work are commendable and reflect the seriousness with which we are approaching this critical infrastructure project.”
