Reno Omokri is asking “What do we learn from this saga?”
He is asking following the “saga” between President of the United States (US), Donald Trump, and American businessman and investor, Elon Musk.
Omokri said, “In fact, any so-called friendship based on a mutual hatred for a common enemy is not a friendship.”
Adding, “There is a thin line between friendship and enmity. Relationships can be fluid. Especially political ones.”
Tesla CEO, Musk, has criticized President Trump’s Bill, saying, the bill should be “killed” as it has the capacity to “bankrupt” the United States (US).
In response, President Trump terminated the X Owner’s government subsidies and contracts.
Omokri warned, “restrain your mouth even when you are excited”, adding, “reveal a lot, but do not say what can be used to destroy you.”

“This is especially true about friendships based on interests. When the interests evaporate, the friendship will also dissipate.
“In fact, any so-called friendship based on a mutual hatred for a common enemy is not a friendship. At best, you are comrades.
“The friendship will only last as long as the mutual enemy exists. The so-called friendship will collapse once that person dies, is defeated, or makes an alliance with one or both of you.”
Omokri continued, this is the reason why one should be careful in politics, saying, “Friends today can be enemies tomorrow. And today’s enemies could be your best friends in the future.”
He advised, “be rigid with your interests. Be flexible with your friendship.”
Reno Omokri further wrote: “That is why you should be careful in politics. Friends today can be enemies tomorrow. And today’s enemies could be your best friends in the future. Be rigid with your interests. Be flexible with your friendship. If a tree is not flexible, it will be uprooted by a rainstorm.”

If your friends lack self-respect, just like you, they’ll use whatever they have access to—secrets or not—to destroy you when conflicts arise. Imagine if those close to Jesus had claimed he was having an affair with Mary Magdalene. Such rumors could have tarnished his reputation. But because everyone in his circle shared mutual respect, nothing of the sort happened. Even Judas regretted his action, realizing it wasn’t worth it.”
