German Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich, have expressed “deep sadness” following the Air India Plane Crash that happened in Thursday 12 June, 2025.
The flight bound for London crashed in Ahmedabad, Western region of India, just some minutes after taking off.
Out of the 242 on board the plane, only one survived – 241 perished after the aircraft crashed on a medical building in Ahmedabad.
Bayern Munich sent its “deepest condolences and sympathies” to the families of the victims.
The only survivor of the plane crash is a British citizen.
In its condolence, Bayern Munich wrote via its official X account: “FC Bayern München is deeply saddened by the plane accident that occurred near Ahmedabad airport.
“Our deepest condolences and sympathies go out to all families and friends of the victims.”

Dozens of people on the ground where the plane crashed have been confirmed killed, including medical students in a college hostel.
