Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has “heartily congratulated” President Bola Tinubu on his 2nd Year Anniversary as President and Commander-In-Chief.
The former Governor of Rivers State said, “Almighty God gave you this invaluable opportunity to serve our beloved country”, and the President has done that with “utmost loyalty and patriotism”.
Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged Nigeria’s President after his victory in the 2023 Presidential Election; defeating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Tinubu’s victory was confirmed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) under the Chairmanship of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu; his victory was challenged in court by several other Parties, however, the Supreme Court eventually affirmed the victory.
Wike expressed confidence in the “sound foundation” the Tinubu’s administration is building, which he said is for “for nation building and development across sectors through the implementation of laudable people-oriented policies and programmes in accordance with the Renewed Hope Agenda”.
He said, “under your purposeful leadership, Nigeria will fully overcome its challenges and take its position as the toast of the world.”
In his remark on President Bola Tinubu’s second year anniversary, Wike said: “I most heartily congratulate a great and committed leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his 2nd Year Anniversary as President and Commander-In-Chief. It is most gratifying that at this critical time, the Almighty God gave you this invaluable opportunity to serve our beloved country, which you have in the last two years, done with utmost loyalty and patriotism.
“No doubt, your administration is laying a sound foundation for nation building and development across sectors through the implementation of laudable people-oriented policies and programmes in accordance with the Renewed Hope Agenda. I am confident that under your purposeful leadership, Nigeria will fully overcome its challenges, regain lost grounds and take its position as the toast of the world.
“Most importantly, I am glad that through your leadership, we have had the rare opportunity of joining in delivering the Renewed Hope mandate in the Federal Capital Territory, and we can see people’s Hope being Restored and Renewed.
