DanFulani officially assumes duty as MD/CEO of Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation

Former Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Zamfara State, Yazeed Shehu DanFulani, has officially assumed duty as Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) at our headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday 27 May, 2025.

The erstwhile Zamfara State Commissioner who served from 2021 to 2023 expressed his deep gratitude to President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as the Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, “for their confidence and support”

DanFulani reaffirmed his commitment “to expanding access to agricultural insurance” as the NAIC Management, staff, family, friends gave him a warm reception.

DanFulani announced: “I officially assumed duty as the Managing Director/CEO of the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) at our headquarters in Abuja. I was warmly received by the NAIC Management, staff, family, friends, and political associates.”

Expressing his gratitude, he said: “I am deeply grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Honourable Minister of State for Defence for their confidence and support. I reaffirm my commitment to expanding access to agricultural insurance, particularly in underserved rural communities.”

DanFulani assured: “Together, we will strengthen NAIC’s mission to protect Nigerian farmers and promote national food security through strategic partnerships and innovative insurance solutions.”
