First Lady of the United States (US), Melania Trump, has come out to make known her positive reaction to the ‘Take It Down Act’ signed into law by US President, Donald Trump.
She described the ‘Take It Down Act’ as a “powerful step”, saying, it help “every American feel better protected from their image or identity being abused.”
Trump announced, he has signed the ‘Take It Down Act’ into law on Monday 19 May, 2025, saying, his government is “making it totally illegal” to distribute Ai-generated “explicit images of countless women against their will”.
President Trump posted on Truth Social: “First Lady @MelaniaTrump: “This legislation (‘Take It Down Act’) is a powerful step forward in our efforts to ensure that every American, especially young people, can feel better protected from their image or identity being abused…””
