Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, emphasized “as a nation, we must commit to fostering an environment where talent, creativity, and hard work are recognized, nurtured, and celebrated.”
The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) made the statement on World Autism Awareness Day 2025 today, Wednesday 2 April, 2025.

“The Guinness World Record holder Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke, who has broken the Guinness World Record in painting on Canvas. He was reported to have made the largest art canvas of 12,303.87m² in 4 months to beat the previous world record of 9,652m² earlier achieved by another individual in 7 months.
“During the event, I emphasized the crucial role of youth-led initiatives in shaping a more inclusive and progressive society. Kanyeyachukwu’s achievement is a testament to the boundless potential that exists within every individual, regardless of the challenges they face. It reinforces the urgent need for inclusivity, support, and opportunities for persons with special abilities.
“As a nation, we must commit to fostering an environment where talent, creativity, and hard work are recognized, nurtured, and celebrated.
“Kanyeyachukwu’s story is not just an inspiration; it is proof that with determination, encouragement, and the right opportunities, greatness can emerge from the most unexpected places.
“Let us all remain committed to building a society that leaves no one behind as we continue to invest in the critical pillars of human development: education, healthcare, and lifting people out of poverty.”
