Leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, said, “you cannot change your biological sex” and that, “Women are women and men are men”.
Badenoch added, “the era of Keir Starmer telling us that some women have penises has come to an end.”
She made the statement as a response to a tweet by PA Media (@PA) which says: “#BreakingNews The definition of a woman and sex in the Equality Act relates to “a biological woman and biological sex”, the Supreme Court has ruled as it unanimously allowed an appeal from a campaign group.”
Kemi Badenoch quoted @PA ‘s tweet and commented: “Saying “trans women are women” was never true in fact and now isn’t true in law, either. A victory for all of the women who faced personal abuse or lost their jobs for stating the obvious.
“Women are women and men are men: you cannot change your biological sex. The era of Keir Starmer telling us that some women have penises has come to an end.
