Human Rights Lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, has expressed gratitude to 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, after meeting with Quadri Yusuf Alabi, the boy who “endured unjust and illegal incarceratio”, and is “finally free”.
After the release of Alabi, the former Governor of Anambra State called for Justice, saying, “we must not stop at his release. Those responsible for his illegal incarceration must be held accountable.”
Lawyer Effiong, Dele Farotimi and Ms Hassana Nurudeen were “instrumental in securing justice for the young lad”, Obi said, as he promised to help Quadri “return to school and complete his education”.
Inibehe Effiong wrote: “We had a very engaging and productive meeting with Mr. @PeterObi in Lagos today to discuss the case of Quadri Alabi.
“He made a commitment to help Quadri to get the necessary training or education that he desires and deserves.”
