Installation of grass at Camp Nou, home ground of Spanish La Liga club, Barcelona, has began, the club announced.
Renovation of Barcelona’s Camp Nou is progressing gradually as the club kicked off laying the new grass on the pitch of its refurbished home stadium on Wednesday.
Barcelona announced: “The installation of the grass at Spotify Camp Nou has begun!”
More than 3,000 workers are currently involved in the redevelopment project, one of the largest in European football.
Currently, Barcelona managed by German tactician, Hansi Flick, are toppers of La Liga with 76 points, trailed by defending champions, Real Madrid with 72 points.
