Via a press statement, the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) sent its congratulations to Monday Okpebholo and the Edo Electorate on election tribunal victory.
Okpebholo’s victory in the Edo State Governorship Election 2024 which was conducted on 21 September, 2024 was affirmed on Wednesday 2 April, 2024.
The ‘Broom’ Party wrote: “This landmark judgement validates the overwhelming support of the Edo State electorate for APC’s candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo @m_akpakomiza in the Sept. 21, 2024, guber election.”
Monday Okpebholo of the APC discomfited Asue Ighodalo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP) to emerge Governor of Edo State.
