French forward, Kylian Mbappe, scored a brace to help Real Madrid come back from behind to discomfit Villarreal 2-1 and climb top of the LaLiga standings on Saturday.
Alex Baena’s corner got to Juan Foyth following a deflection off Aurelien Tchouameni and the Argentina international turned home from close range to make it 1-0 to Villarreal.
However, Carlo Ancelotti’s side levelled 10 minutes later when Mbappe scored from a rebound after Brahim Diaz’s initial attempt was intercepted by goalkeeper Diego Conde.
The France international netted his second of the game six minutes later, converting Lucas Vazquez’s through ball.
