FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification: Nigeria’s four ‘new Eagles’ for qualifiers

Super Eagles new manager, Eric Chelle , has added four (4) “new Eagles” to the 23-player squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe later this month.

The four (4) “new Eagles” are:

  • Tolu Arokodare | Genk | Forward
  • Kayode Bankole | Remo Stars | Goalkeeper
  • Papa Mustapha | Niger Tornadoes | Midfielder
  • Igho Ogbu | Sparta Prague | Defender

Nigeria will face Rwanda on 21 March, 2025 at 17:00 (WAT); and Zimbabwe on 25 March, 2025 at 17:00 (WAT).
