President Bola Tinubu met with his Ministers on Thursday 13 February, 2025 as he arrived in Addis Ababa, Capital of Ethiopia for the African Union Summit.
The African Union (AU) Summit 2025, the 38th edition of the event is scheduled to begin on Saturday 15, February and conclude on Sunday 16 February, 2025.

The 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union. The Assembly is the AU’s supreme policy and decision-making organ. It comprises all Member State Heads of State and Government. The Assembly determines the AU’s policies, establishes its priorities, adopts its annual programme and monitors the implementation of its policies and decisions.
The African Union theme of the year 2025 will focus on Reparatory Justice and Racial Healing Under the Theme: “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with his ministers Thursday night on arrival in Addis Ababa for the 38th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the AU Heads of State. Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar led the briefing.”
