On his first day at the Oval Office, White House, President Donald Trump signed approximately 200 executive orders, actions and memos, of which one is ending birthright citizenship.

Donald Trump was sworn in as 47th President of the United States (US) by the country’s Chief Justice, John Roberts, on Monday 20 January, 2024.

AG Ellison said, “If you are born in the U.S., you are a U.S. citizen. Period.”

Trump signing the executive orders is a move to put to action his “America First” policies.

According to AG Ellison: “If you are born in the U.S., you are a U.S. citizen. Period.

The 14th Amendment clearly says so. The Supreme Court has affirmed it for more than 125 years.

That’s why I’m suing Pres. Trump to block his unconstitutional executive order purporting to end birthright citizenship.

“If allowed to stand, individuals stripped of their rightful U.S. citizenship would be forced to live under constant threat of deportation while lacking clear citizenship in any other nation.

At least 150K children born each year would be denied guaranteed rights and protections.

“No president gets to trample the Constitution.”
