Governor of Bayelsa State, Duoye Diri, joined thousands of music lovers in Bayelsa State to grace the New Year show hosted by singer, Timaya, at the Sports Complex, Yenagoa.

Diri expressed gratitude to the ‘Cold Outside’ singer, for hosting the show, and said, “Bayelsa is ready to host you again next year”.
According to Governor Diri: “Last night, I joined thousands of music lovers in Bayelsa State to grace the New Year show hosted by our global music ambassador, Nigerian singer and songwriter, Inetimi Odon, better known by his stage name Timaya at the Sports Complex, Yenagoa.
I am happy with our son, a pride of Bayelsa and Ijaw Nation, coming to support our drive to boost tourism potential of the State.
