It was Ruben Amorim’s first top flight victory since taking over managerial duties at Manchester United on Monday 11 November, 2024.
After being held 1-1 in his first Premier League encounter by Ipswich Town, Amorim’s side were transformed against the Toffees as Rashford opened scoring in the 34th minute, and Zirkzee made it two in the 41st minut
The hosts went three (3) goals in front when Rashford found the back of the net just one minute into the second half, and Zirkzee sealed win for United in the 64th minute.
Everton are now without a victory in five (5) Premier League matches, and without a goal in four (4).
