According to Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun: “I am pleased to announce the completion of the long-awaited renovation of the Ogun State House of Assembly Complex, which has stood for 45 years. Today, as I present the 2025 appropriation bill, I officially commission the newly renovated complex.

“This renovation is the fulfillment of a promise I made last year, during the presentation of the 2024 appropriation bill. I committed to ensuring that the Assembly Complex, which had fallen into disrepair, would be given a fresh look before the presentation of the 2025 budget.
“The renovated complex now boasts essential facilities, including a reliable water supply and ensuite offices for all members, providing a much more conducive environment for legislative work. This transformation will ensure that our lawmakers have the tools and space necessary to carry out their duties effectively.
“I would like to thank the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, and all the members of the Ogun State House of Assembly for their continued support and collaboration. I am confident that together, we will work towards the swift passage of the budget, and continue to strengthen the relationship between the Executive and the Legislature.”
