39th President of the United States (US), Jimmy Carter, died on Sunday 29 December, 2024 “surrounded by his family”.
In his condolence message, PM Sanchez wrote: “My deepest condolences to President Carter’s family and the people of the United States.
Jimmy Carter was one of the leaders most committed to justice and human rights and will always be remembered for his defense of democracy and his dedication to peace.”
