According to Governor of Bayelsa State, Duoye Diri: “This afternoon, I signed into law a budget of Six Hundred and Ninety Nine Billion, Five Hundred and Seventy Three Million, One Hundred and Sixty Seven Thousand, Five Hundred and Ninety Two Naira (N699, 573,167,592.00) only for 2025 as passed by the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

“The brief ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and other top government functionaries.
I wish to appreciate Mr. Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, the Principal Officers and other members of the State House of Assembly for their diligence in the timely passage of the Appropriation bill.
We are committed to the transparent implementation of the “Budget of ASSURED Prosperity” in 2025 to achieve economic growth, jobs creation, power generation and deliver on our ongoing legacy projects across the State.”
