Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reach a divorce settlement, her lawyer revealed on Monday.

This brings to an end one of the longest and most contentious divorces in Hollywood history.
James Simon, Attorney to Jolie, confirmed to The Associated Press that the couple had agreed to a deal.
Via a statement, Simon said: “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt.
“She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
No court documents have been filed for now, and a Judge is required to sign off on the agreement.
Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 after she said Pitt was abusive towards her and their children; in 2019, a Judge declared the couple divorced and single, but the sharing of assets as well as child custody needed to be settled separately.
49-year old Jolie and 61-year Pitt, for twelve years were among the most prominent couple in Hollywood; the two Oscar winners have six (6) children together.
