The floods hit the Asian country due to Strom Trami.
According to the UN agency saddled with the mission to ‘help humanitarian organizations save the lives of people caught in crises’: “Floods have displaced more than 700k people.
“Agriculture sector affected the most.
“Water, sanitation, and health needs remain a priority
“Communities affected by the storm need food, water, shelter and medical support, among others.”
UNOCHA continued: “the combined effect of Storm Trami and Typhoon Kong-Rey has now affected 8.8 million people in the country.”
