Russia invaded Ukraine in February, 2022, and the fighting between Russia and Ukraine has continued to intensify since then.
The Ukrainian President said, “Russia deliberately targets hospitals, clinics, and maternity hospitals.”
Ukrainian cities of Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Odesa have been struck with residential buildings destroyed, energy infrastructure targeted.
According to President Zelenskyy: “Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian attacks have completely destroyed 227 medical facilities in Ukraine and damaged over 1,700 more.
Russia deliberately targets hospitals, clinics, and maternity hospitals. Yet, our Ukrainian doctors, nurses, and medical staff remain by their patients’ side, even under the threat to their own lives. Every day, they save lives, perform surgeries under fire, and bring hope, even in the darkest moments. We are immensely grateful for their dedication and bravery.
Support the medical sector to help all of Ukraine.”
