Economic and Financial Crimes Commission joined the Police and other security agencies to monitor the Ondo State Governorship Election 2024 which is taking place on Saturday 16 November, 2024.

Nigeria’s anti-corruption Agency said, “the monitoring exercise is aimed at checkmating vote buying and selling or other form of electoral offences. It is also meant to ensure utmost integrity of the electoral processes.”
According to EFCC Nigeria: “Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Saturday, November 16, filed out to monitor the ongoing governorship election in Ondo State.
The monitoring exercise is aimed at checkmating vote buying and selling or other form of electoral offences. It is also meant to ensure utmost integrity of the electoral processes.
Operatives are all over the state in line with the mandate of the Commission to prevent, investigate and prosecute all forms of economic and financial crimes.”
