United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said, following ongoing outbreaks of cholera, “over 1.2 million doses of cholera vaccines have been delivered to Ethiopia.”

The UN agency responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide said, the move will help “protect children in high-risk areas”.
According to UNICEF: “Amid ongoing cholera outbreaks, @UNICEF has delivered over 1.2 million doses of #cholera vaccines to #Ethiopia to protect children in high-risk areas. UNICEF is scaling up its response providing prevention, detection and treatment solutions to fight the disease.”
