Thanks to a brace by Ossy Martins, Lobi Stars clinched a 2-1 win over Bayelsa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League 2024/25 match on Monday 28 October, 2024 at Lafia Township Stadium, Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Daniel Amokachi’s side opened scoring in the 22nd through Martins, however, the visitors fought back and equalized in the 30th minute through I. Yahaya from the penalty spot.
Martins found the back of the net again for the Ortom Boys in the 57th minute to help Amokachi clinch his first three (3) points in his first game as Lobi Stars manager.
