Update on the outage in Bayelsa
“The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) announces that 65% of repairs on the vandalized 132kV Ahoada-Yenagoa transmission line towers have been completed.

17 towers have been successfully erected, with work progressing on the remaining three.
TCN will commence stringing of conductors, hoisting of insulators and clamping of hardware shortly.
Despite the challenging swampy terrain, contractors are working diligently to complete the project ahead of the projected November 6, 2024 deadline, ensuring timely restoration of power supply to Bayelsa State.”
