Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, is currently meeting with United States (US) Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, at the PM’s Office in Jerusalem.

This is coming as the fighting between Israel and Palestinian fighters, known as, Hamas, continues to intensify, with more than 40,000 people dead in Gaza.
The US believes Israel now has a “new opportunity” to strike a new hostage release deal with Hamas following the elimination of Hamas Leader, Yahya Sinwar.
Sinwar was eliminated by Israel Defence Forces (IDF) in Gaza on Thursday 17 October, 2024.
According to Prime Minister of Israel: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.”
