He added, “that’s in addition to more than 15.6 million meals and 13.9 million liters of water shipped.”
Hurricane Helene struck coastal States in the US, including, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina…,and claimed more than 200 lives.
According to President Biden: “My Administration will continue to do whatever it takes to ensure that those affected by Hurricane Helene have the resources they need.
So far, we’ve delivered over $286 million in financial assistance to the survivors of Hurricane Helene throughout affected regions.
“That’s in addition to more than 15.6 million meals and 13.9 million liters of water shipped, aided by more than 7,400 federal personnel with boots on the ground.
To everyone in the Southeast and Appalachia: We’re with you for as long as it takes.”
