Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has expressed appreciation to fans for their “commitment and passion” towards the Gunners as they cruised past Preston on Wednesday night.

It was an easy win for Arsenal as Arteta’s side made light work of Preston, winning by three (3) goals to nil (0) in the EFL Cup 2024/25 fourth round match on Wednesday 30 October, 2024 at Deepdale.
In his post-win comments, Arteta said: “It’s just incredible. Their commitment, their passion to come and support the team, it really made a difference so thank you so much to them.”
Goals from Gabriel Jesus (24′), Ethan Nwaneri (33′) and Kai Havertz (57′) were enough for Gunners to progress into the quarter finals of the tournament.
