This is coming some months following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after a large container ship lost power and crashed into it.

The US President said, “Some thought the shipping channel at the Port of Baltimore would be blocked for 6 months but is was cleared in 78 days.”

He added, “8,000 workers are back on the job, and 100,000 tons of cargo pass through it daily.”

Biden promised his administration will help the State of Maryland in rebuilding the Bridge, as well as, support the State for as long as it takes as it recovers from the unfortunate incident which claimed six (6) lives.

According to President Biden: “Some thought the shipping channel at the Port of Baltimore would be blocked for 6 months – but our Coast Guard, Navy, and Army Corps of Engineers cleared it in 78 days.

That’s America.

Now, 8,000 port workers are back on the job. And 100,000 tons of cargo pass through it daily.”
