The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) said, “Super pollutants are wreaking havoc on human health by dirtying the air and exacerbating the #ClimateCrisis.”

World Clean Air Day 2024 |
World Clean Air Day is observed by members of the United Nations (UN) on 7 September annually with the aim to strengthen international cooperation in improving air quality and reducing air pollution.
According UNEP: “Ugly, annoying, destructive. Super pollutants are running wild everywhere you look but can’t see. Warming the planet and wreaking havoc on our health in the process, they’re responsible for 45% of global warming to date.”
Super Pollutants include:
- Black Carbon
- Tropospheric Ozone
- Methane
