Uefa Champions League 2024/25: Bayern Munich 9-2 Dinamo Zagreb – Harry Kane score four as Bavarians whitewash visitors

This should have ended with German giants, Bayern Munich, scoring eleven (11) goals, but, VAR struck out two.

In the Uefa Champions League 2024/25 League Phase opener, Bayern Munich mercilessly crushed Dinamo Zagreb by nine goals to two on Tuesday 17 September, 2024 at Allianz Arena.

English sharpshooter, Harry Kane, netted a total of five (5) goals, but, VAR cancelled one.

Kane scored in the 19th (penalty), 57th, 73rd (penalty) and 78th (penalty) minutes to help manager, Vincent Kompany’s side clinch all three points comfortably.

Raphael Guerrero, Leroy Same and Leon Goretzka, all netted one each in the 33rd, 84th and 90+2′ respectively; and Michael Olise grabbed a brace in the 38th and 61st minutes.

The Croatian side netted twice through through Bruno Petkovic in the 49th minute and Takuya Ogiwara in the 50th minute.
