Russia-Ukraine: ‘Kharkiv struck again with aerial b*mbs, 8-year old injured’ – President Zelenskyy

Ukrainian city of Kharkiv has been struck again by Russia with aerial bombs and leaving “21 people injured”, President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said.

The Ukrainian President disclosed, “an 8-year-old child and two 17-year-old teenagers” were among the injured.

He further disclosed, all through the week “the enemy has used over 900 guided aerial bombs, around 400 “Shahed” drones, and nearly 30 missiles of various types.”

This strike on Kharkiv is coming following recent strikes on Lviv and Poltava by Russia.

In the previous strike on Kharkiv, “nearly 30 people were injured including children after Russian strike on residential building.”

He begged “partners for full long-range capabilities to better protect lives and ensure safety.”

According to President Zelenskyy: “Last night, Russia struck Kharkiv again, this time with aerial bombs targeting an ordinary residential building. As a result, 21 people were injured, including an 8-year-old child and two 17-year-old teenagers. Sixty residents were evacuated from the building. All are receiving the necessary assistance.


Throughout the week, the enemy has used over 900 guided aerial bombs, around 400 “Shahed” drones, and nearly 30 missiles of various types.


We need to strengthen our capabilities to better protect lives and ensure safety. Ukraine needs full long-range capabilities, and we are working to convince our partners of this. We will continue these discussions next week.”
