The UN agency for Palestine refugees also said, “people are being displaced in Lebanon due to Israeli Forces airstrikes and escalating violence.”
The “escalating violence” in Lebanon has caused multiples loss of lives with many others injured.
Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has urged the citizens of Lebanon to “get out of harm’s way” as its military fights against Hezbollah.
The Israeli PM said, the citizens of Lebanon can return to their homes after Israel has completed its operations against Hezbollah.
According to UNRWA: “In #Lebanon, people are being displaced due to Israeli Forces airstrikes and escalating violence.
@UNRWA opened emergency shelters and is providing displaced families with essential supplies including food, water and mattresses.
Our teams are working to reach those in need with critical humanitarian aid.”
The United Nations (UN) said: “Lebanon: Thousands of families are fleeing into Syria in desperation as airstrikes continue to escalate and cause devastation.
@Refugees is scaling up support and is providing water, food & supplies to the growing number of displaced people.”
