Asue Ighodalo, Gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has come out to express gratitude to the people of Edo State for their “love and massive support” in the recently conducted Edo State Governorship Election 2024.

The Edo State Governorship Election 2024 produced Monday Okpebholo, Gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as Governor-Elect of Edo State.
Okpebholo defeated Asue Ighodalo of the PDP, Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP), to emerged winner, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Ighodalo thanked the people of Edo “for braving the rains, threats of violence, harassments and intimidation to vote for us massively last Saturday 21st September 2024.”
In his gratitude, Ighodalo wrote: “Thank you, Edo. Thank you for the love and massive support you have shown me throughout this journey.
Thank you for braving the rains, threats of violence, harassments and intimidation to vote for us massively last Saturday 21st September 2024.
