Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States (US) said, she is happy to hear former US President, Donald Trump, “is safe” following another attempt to assassinate the Republican Party Presidential candidate.

On Sunday 15 September, 2024, another attempt on Trump’s life was foiled after swift intervention by Secret Service agents.
Mr Trump was at his West Palm Springs Resort in Florida when the incident occurred.
“According to local media reports, Trump was moving between holes five and six at his golf course with his friend and Republican mega donor Steve Witkoff when gunshots were heard. The course was quickly locked down”, aljazeera.com reports.
US VP, Harris, said: “I have been briefed on reports of gunshots fired near former President Trump and his property in Florida, and I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America.”
