Pepe Retires: ‘Greatest achievement is the friendship and respect’ – C Ronaldo

Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has written his farewell message to “friend and brother”, Pepe, who just retired from football at 41, saying, “we won everything there was to win on the field, but the greatest achievement is the friendship and respect I have for you”.

Pepe, Portugal defender, has retired from football after featuring for his country in the Euro 2024.

He played his last game in the quarter finals of the tournament against France where the Lusos were knocked out in a penalty shootout.

Ronaldo wrote: “There are not enough words to express how much you mean to me, friend.


We won everything there was to win on the field, but the greatest achievement is the friendship and respect I have for you. You are unique, my brother.


Thank you for so much.”
