This brings “the total number of confirmed cases in 2024 to 48.”
According to NCDC: “During reporting week 34 (August 19-25), 8 new confirmed cases of #mpox were recorded across five states, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in 2024 to 48.
The National Mpox Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) continues to lead the coordination of the national Mpox response activities, providing weekly updates on new findings and recommendations to address ongoing challenges.”
