The US President sent his congratulatory message to the UK PM following his huge victory at the UK General Election 2024 over Rishi Sunak of the Conservative Party.
The UK General Election 2024 was conducted on Thursday 4 July, 2024.
President Joe Biden wrote: “Congratulations to Prime Minister Keir Starmer on becoming Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
I look forward to our shared work in support of freedom and democracy around the world, and to further strengthening the special relationship between our two countries.”
The Labour Party Leader quoted President Biden’s tweet and commented: “Thank you
@POTUS for your continued commitment to the special relationship between our two nations.
I look forward to working with you.”
