The French President who earlier declared, Paris is ready to host the Olympic Games, said, “the Paris Games are an opportunity to make the country shine even more and invent”.
The Games which have already kicked off saw some football (men) action yesterday, with some football (women) action to take place today, will have its opening ceremony take place on Friday 26 July, 2024.
The opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 will take place for the first time ever outside a stadium at the Seine River.
According to President Macron: “The Paris Games are an opportunity to make the country shine even more and invent! We are opening a space opposite the Élysée Palace that highlights French heritage and know-how. This place is for you. We are very proud of it. Welcome !”
