Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has offered his condolences, sharing words of encouragement with the family of President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, following the demise of the businessman.

The Governor said, “the weight of their loss was palpable, and I felt a deep sense of sadness as I expressed my heartfelt condolences to his family.”
Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, died on Thursday 25 July, 2024 after a brief illness, as disclosed by his son, Jide Iwuanyanwu, via a statement.
Governor Uzodimma wrote: “At the home of the late Elder statesman and former President General of Ohaneze Ndi’Igbo Worldwide, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the weight of their loss was palpable, and I felt a deep sense of sadness as I expressed my heartfelt condolences to his family.
While offering my condolences, I shared words of encouragement with his family, reminding them of his remarkable legacy and the positive impact he had on countless lives. We joined in prayer, seeking strength and fortitude to bear this great loss. It is my hope that the cherished memories of Chief Iwuanyanwu will bring comfort and peace to his loved ones during this difficult time.”
