Donald Trump, former President of the United States (US), has expressed his gratitude to God after surviving an assassination attempt two weeks ago.

Mr Trump was shot at during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday 13 July, 2024; he survived with a wounded ear, and no serious injury.
The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was killed on the spot by one of Mr Trump’s snipers.
He said, “Grace of Almighty God” helped “his recovery from the assassination attempt against him”.
According to Fox News: “‘GRACE OF ALMIGHTY GOD’: Former President Trump credits the “power of prayer” for his recovery from the assassination attempt against him as he speaks to supporters without a bandage on his ear.”
