The container ship, Dali, that crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge, has been “cleared from the channel eight weeks after” its crash into the bridge in Baltimore.

The FSK Bridge, Baltimore collapsed after a massive container ship, Dali, lost power and crashed into it.
The unfortunate incident led to the death of six people.
Clearing the Dali from the channel is “a mark of progress and promise kept”, President of the United States (US), Joe Biden said.
The US President had earlier assured the people of Maryland State of his administration’s support in rebuilding the bridge.
President Biden said: “Eight weeks since the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, the Dali has been cleared from the channel, a mark of progress and a promise kept.
“It took the grit of workers and officials coming together to get this done.
“That’s Baltimore Strong.”
He also assured that the Port of Baltimore will be fully reopened by the end of May.
The White House wrote: “This morning, the cargo ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge was officially relocated – a major step toward reopening the full channel leading to the Port of Baltimore.
“@POTUS will continue to lead a whole-of-government approach to the collapse of the bridge.”
