Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has commissioned the Headquarters of the Nigerian Navy Training Command in Ebubu Eleme.

According to Governor Fubara: “Today I was the special guest to commission the Headquarters of the Nigerian Navy Training Command in Ebubu Eleme.
“The new location of the training command is significant in two ways. Firstly, the Training Command is now located in the formerly abandoned Amb. Ine Kurubo Model Secondary School, Ebubu Eleme, now donated to the Nigerian Navy by the Rivers State Government.
“Secondly, the facility has now given our state the privilege of hosting the headquarters of the Naval Training Command and all other training facilities of the Nigerian Navy.
“It is indeed remarkable because our dear state will reap the benefit not only of improved security of our maritime corridors, but also a boost in economic activity and assets.”
