The Governor announced the award was handed him when he visited the Hajj House, where he “commended the Chairman, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi and the entire commission for their recognition of our efforts”.
According to Governor Uzodimma: “I was humbled to have received an award of excellence from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) during my visit at the Hajj House and I commended the Chairman, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi and the entire commission for their recognition of our efforts.
“While our State is predominantly of Christian faithfuls, it’s imperative to acknowledge the diversity within our community. Embracing this diversity, we have diligently pursued policies that cater to the needs of all religious denominations especially with our sponsorship of pilgrimages for both Christians and Muslims which underscores this commitment.
“As 2024 Hajj season approaches, our collaboration with NAHCON intensifies, even as we strive to facilitate and support our Muslim brethren in their spiritual journey. Rest assured, we remain steadfast in our resolve to promote inclusivity and unity through governance.”
