The United Nations Human Rights said, for “peace and justice” to reign, there has to be “women at the tables of power”.

The statement was made by Volker Tuck, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on International Women’s Day today, Friday 8 March, 2024.
According to UN Human Rights Chief, Volker Tuck: “Without women at the tables of power, there can be no peace. No justice. No democracy.
Without women – in all their diversity – there is absolutely no progress at all.”
