The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced Togolese former professional striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, as its new ambassador.

Emmanuel Adebayor had a very beautiful career, fielding for several top European club, encompassing: Arsenal, Monaco, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and a lot more.
While at Premier League club, Arsenal, Adebayor was voted African Footballer Of The Year in 2008; he represented Togo in the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. It was Togo’s first World Cup and only till date.
According to CAF: “We are thrilled to announce our new CAF Ambassador, Emmanuel Adebayor.”
